Teen Center Site Leader
Supervisor: Family
Services Director
Prerequisites:
-
Must
be at least 18 years of age
-
Must
have flexible schedule and would be willing to work
Monday-Friday
-
Must
have or obtain First Aid and CPR certification (within first 30
days)

Experience working directly with children preferred

General
Responsibilities:
The Site Leader will
be responsible for the daily operation of the Teen Center at the
Kroehler Family YMCA.
Staff Training:
-
Attend
staff meetings and training events as scheduled.
Program Development:
-
Assist
in the implementation of the established curriculum.
-
Assist
in the operation of all aspects of the program.
-
Support the mission and philosophy of the YMCA and reflect these
principles in your actions and promotion of all YMCA programs.
Specific Site
Responsibilities:
-
Have
direct involvement with the children by leading and assisting in
activities.

Supervise and insure safety of participants in all settings.
-
Maintain all equipment and supplies.
-
Share
problems or concerns with Family Services Director and
supervisors.

Facilitate proper group behavior in all situations.
-
Adhere
to the rules, regulations, and policies set forth by the YMCA
Effect on End Results:
The Teen Center will
be a quality youth program adhering to the principles and purpose
of the YMCA mission, thus building strong kids, strong families,
and strong communities.
