Heritage YMCA To Host Third Annual Signature Golf Event

(Generating support for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign)

(Naperville, IL)...Registration is now underway for the third annual Heritage YMCA Signature Golf Event in Kohler, WI. This year’s outing will be held at the American Club in Kohler, WI, July 27 - July 29, 2008. The event is designed to strengthen relationships with individuals who are already supporting the YMCA and to generate new support for the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The YMCA Strong Kids Campaign generates the funds necessary to guarantee that no child or family will ever be denied YMCA programming because of an inability to pay the cost of participation.

During the golf event, participants play two rounds of golf and are able to select any two of four American Club courses located at Blackwolf Run and Whistling Straits. Whistling Straits has received national attention recently by hosting major PGA championships and was selected to host a future international Ryder Cup competition.

Two dinners are included in the event package. The first night of the event will include a dinner held in the Kohler Design Center and Museum and the second night will feature a meal at River Wildlife, located in the American Club’s private forest preserve. Past participants have invited spouses, friends and business associates as guests. Friends and spouses not interested in golfing will enjoy the Kohler Water Spa, a lunch, an hour cooking class and shopping in the Village of Kohler.

This year’s event is being sponsored by Oxford Bank, Citibank, Minuteman Press and two anonymous sponsors. Complete details on the July YMCA Signature Golf Event can be received by calling Tom Beerntsen, 630.420.6277 or Jane Bowers, 630.420.0960. Register early as there are limited tee times and rooms available for this great golf event.
