Ron Anderson is a seasoned athlete and fitness buff with many years of experience in the health and wellness field and is no stranger to the Kroehler Family YMCA. One of his most recent experiences included being on staff at Kroehler as an instructor and personal trainer. Because of his great listening skills, ability to coach and motivate people, and solid credentials, Ron connected with a large following of health-seekers looking to improve their quality of life in spirit, mind and body. They are very excited to have Ron be a part of the Kroehler Family YMCA community as a full-time employee now and look forward to working with him in pursuit of healthier living. "I have seen Ron in action here at our YMCA and know he represents the mission and values of the YMCA and that he is a great fit in our Health & Wellness Department," said RJ Bartels, Executive Director, Kroehler Family YMCA. “As the Kroehler Family YMCA’s new Health and Wellness Director, I aspire to give the community twice the experience I have had with the YMCA. The YMCA has grown so much in every aspect of health & wellness, child care, programs, and now Activate America; all guided towards helping families and the community. I am happy to say with our great team here at Kroehler we will have no problem exceeding the expectations of the community, while at the same time showing them that we are not just another establishment and that we really do care, said Ron Anderson, Director of Health & Wellness, Kroehler Family YMCA. Ron has completed his course work and will officially receive an Exercise Science Degree from North Central College later this Summer.
