REGISTER NOW FOR 2008/2009 EDUCATIONAL PRESCHOOL AT THE KROEHLER FAMILY YMCA
(Introducing children to a preschool experience in a fun and caring atmosphere)

(Naperville, IL)….The Kroehler Family YMCA located in downtown Naperville is offering educational preschool programs for children ages 2 1/2 - Pre-Kindergarten age (DOB before 9/1/04). Programs provide developmentally appropriate curriculum by highly qualified staff with an emphasis on four core values; Caring, Honest, Respect and Responsibility.

Tot Time for 2 1/2 - 3 year olds, is a class designed to offer socialization opportunities, activities to encourage curiosity, and development of fine and large-motor skills. Method of discovery is the focus of the program. Children must be 2 1/2 by 9/1/08 to attend this class and best of all, potty training is not required. Classes are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Cost for YMCA member is $95.00 and $143 for community participant. Session starts September 2, 2008.

Fabulous Fours for 3 1/2 - 4 year olds, is a class giving children opportunities to develop listening skills, follow directions, and participate in group activities. Development of fine and large motor skills and age appropriate activities are part of the curriculum to stimulate learning. Children must be 3 1/2 by 9/1/2008 to attend this class and potty training is not required. Classes are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning from 9:00-11:30 a.m., starting September 3, 2008. Cost is $135.00 for YMCA member and $203.00 for community participant.

Pre-Kindergarten class, for kids entering Kindergarten in Fall 2009 or DOB before 9/1/04, experience a curriculum designed for school readiness. There are many opportunities for individual growth in all areas of development. Parent-teacher conferences and development reports are included to increase preparedness for Kindergarten. Participants will be able to swim once a month, will have weekly Spanish and computer instruction. Classes are offered on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday afternoons from 12:30-3:00 p.m. Session begins September 2, 2008. Cost is $150.00 for YMCA member and $225.00 for Community Participant.
