OFFICIAL EVENT NOTICES

At 5:45 am this morning, May 12, 2008, George Hood broke through the previous World Record of 175 hours 50 minutes in a stationary bike.  The moment was marked by the Guinness Adjudicator presenting a record certificate to George while he was surrounded by a room full of friends, volunteers and news media.  George continued to ride to establish a new world record.  That actual new record needs to be certified by Guinness, but will be about 178 hours.
