OFFICIAL EVENT NOTICES
At 5:51 am,
May 12, 2008, George Hood broke through the previous World Record
of 175 hours 50 minutes in a stationary bike. The moment was
marked by the Guinness Adjudicator presenting a record certificate
to George while he was surrounded by a room full of friends,
volunteers and news media. George continued to ride to
establish a new world record.
Guinness has now
certified George's record at 177 hours 45 minutes.
The record DID make it in to the record book that has recently
been published.
