Increasing Availability to All
Our YMCA never turns anyone away because they
lack financial resources. Contributions to the Heritage YMCA
Group’s Strong Kids Campaign helps provide fee assistance to
hundreds of children and families ensuring that our YMCA remains
available to all. As a non-profit community service organization
we rely on generous donations from friends and our members.
Inspiring Youth and Teens
Our YMCA is a safe place where youth and
teens can dream, learn, grow and achieve their fullest
potential. Our work is about putting heroes into their lives so
every youth and teen will deepen their positive values, their
commitment to service and motivation to learn.

Developing Character
YMCA programs have a positive impact on young
people. "Assets" are the way we measure that impact. Assets are
40 attributes identified by the Search Institute as key building
blocks to help kids succeed. Assets are positive experiences and
qualities that help young people make wise decisions, choose
positive paths and grow to be caring, honest, respectful and
responsible adults.

 Connecting Communities
Serving over 22,000 members and 10,000
community participants annually, our YMCA focuses on creating
small, caring communities that engage and connect people to each
other, building long-term relationships that foster a sense of
belonging and sharing of their time, talents or treasure.
Strengthening Relationships
Every family will build stronger bonds, achieve greater
work/life balance and become more engaged with their
communities. Every individual will strengthen their spiritual,
mental and physical well-being.
Getting Involved
Volunteer founded and volunteer led, our YMCA
depends on the generosity and dedication of volunteers.
Volunteers are the center of YMCA operations. They do everything
from reading to children, hosting events, making policies, and
partnering with professional staff to ensure that each YMCA is
mission driven.
Creating Healthier Lifestyles
As an Activate America® YMCA, we are 1 of
1,525 YMCAs working to combat rising levels of obesity by
promoting healthier living. Wellness programs and services will
continue to be made available to health seekers whom are
connected and supported by YMCA staff on their journey to a
healthier lifestyle.
