Y-Guide/Princess/Trailblazer Programs are designed for dads
and their daughters and sons

It’s a crazy world we live in and “quality time” always seems to be in short supply. Somehow, some way, we’ve got to find time to spend with our children and we need to make it a priority for them and us.

Y-Guides and Y-Princesses are for fathers and their children in Kindergarten through fourth grade. Trailblazers are for children 5th grade and up and their Fathers.  You and your child will meet with other parent-child teams from your neighborhood or school in a small group, called a tribe. In addition to program events, each tribe gets together on a frequency decided by the tribe and plans their own activities. The Native American theme is a tribute to the inspiration of the program decades ago: inspired by the way that Native American fathers passed wisdom and knowledge to their sons by spending time with them, teaching them respect for the environment, their elders and others.

Program Main Events: Fall, Winter and Spring Campouts, late nights at the YMCA, Pinewood Derby Races, Rock Climbing, Daddy Daughter Dance, and more.

“Pals Forever… Friends Always”

Y- Guide/Princess/Trailblazer Programs have offered thousands of fathers and sons/daughters the opportunity to laugh, love, grow and learn together. Early enrollment for this fall program is encouraged.
